Community Open House: Whitaker Farm Project

As some folks in the community may already be aware, a proposal for a temporary use of the former Whitaker-Adams School Site is being considered. Though the details of the project are fluid, the central idea is that an educational market farm would be set-up on a temporary basis. Our 42nd Avenue has provided some input toward the process — primarily that the community should drive the future of the site. Here’s a chance to lend your input to the process:

Wednesday, January 30th
6:00-7:30 PM — Short presentation beginning at 6pm
PCC Metro Workforce Training Center Auditorium
5600 NE 42nd Avenue
Drinks and snacks will be provided
