Engages our community through events, media, one-on-one discussions, social media and other avenues. The goal is to get folks involved and to ensure that the needs/desires of our community continue to drive Our 42nd Avenue in an inclusive way. Meets on the first Monday of each month (check calendar).

Get involved in any of the following projects:

• Social Equity Strategy: A strategy to build partnerships and involve a more representative group of community members in setting goals and priorities, and to build a representative leadership group that hold Our 42nd Avenue to its mission of equitable economic development. In Planning Stage.
  • Specific Needs:
    • Community members with unique connections to our diverse and vulnerable populations.
• Community Canvass: Door-to-door discussions with community members to collect thoughts about the present state and future of 42nd Avenue, and to encourage participation. In Progress.
  • Specific Needs:
    • Community members with various language skills. Amongst other languages, we need canvassers proficient in Spanish and Somali.
• Community Newsletter: Updating community members on the latest O42A happenings and future events. In Planning Stage.
• Community Design Workshop: Preparations for our February community event. In Planning Stage.
