Not so long ago, the Our 42nd Ave Steering Committee met Will Lillard of the Fernhill Creative Learning Community to hear a little about the FCLC’s projects and how we might partner. We share similar goals insofar as drawing community together across our neighborhoods. Currently, this FCLC is working on a project in conjunction with the Village Building Convergence and they need support. Please consider lending your energy or resources to their latest project, a Community Artshop. Here’s a description from FCLC:
…a 200 square foot, multi-purpose, educational, crafting studio constructed using natural materials, complete with a living roof! Once finished, the space will be used to hold artistic workshops, skillshare events, and other gatherings open to the public. It will also be available to community members who may need space and tools to complete their creative projects.
